Are you confident you’re taking advantage of every available tax break? Is your tax adviser giving you proactive advice to save on taxes? I’ve got bad news and I’ve got good news. The bad news is, you’re right. You do pay too much tax. You’re probably not taking advantage of every tax break you can. And most advisers do a poor job of actually saving their clients’ money.

This workshop is designed to make business owners aware of missed income tax saving opportunities before they occur and help build an effective audit defense program to reduce the magnitude of tax deficiencies. The following” take-aways” will be:

Ability to read the tax red flags
Understanding the basic tax infrastructure
Ability to take advantage of the graduated tax rate system
Tools for restructuring your business for available tax benefits
Implementation of a sound audit-ready accounting system

FIDDLEBIRD is a folk duo consisting of Kolleen Blume on fiddle and vocals and Amelia Sweet Bluebird on guitar and vocals. Kolleen has been playing the fiddle for over 20 years, specializing in contra dance and irish tunes. Amelia has been singing ever since she can remember and is continually studying the voice. These talented women play children's songs, folk tunes, irish tunes, and protest songs. This female powered duo is focused on singing and sharing music with community, whether at Schuba's acoustic brunch, your local farmer's market, library, or community events.
