The proposed ordinances would convert the mix of commercial and residential properties at 2610-2787 N. Milwaukee Av., 2800-2957 N. Milwaukee Av. and 3015 N. Elbridge Av. to a restrictive, low-density B2-1 zoning classification. If approved by the Chicago City Council, the measures would mean new businesses and developers would need to seek a zoning change from Ramirez-Rosa for projects that exceed the proposed B2-1 designation.

This is a workshop to explain the benefits of why a small business would need a mobile app developed for their business and how to leverage this powerful technology to compete with much larger corporations. Why do they need a mobile app, what type of mobile application, and what are the top features that every small business needs to compete today in this ever changing technical arena. There is also a case study portion, where real world examples are used to illustrate the power of having a mobile app used properly and what are the cautionary tales of what small business should avoid, when choosing a developer to develop their custom mobile app.

A stand-up presentation can be a powerful tool to influence prospects, clients or investors to favor your idea. In a presentation, you must be in charge. You stand. They sit. You control the sequence and flow of information. However, if you are uptight, nervous or drench your slides with words, you will seriously undermine your message.

Relevance to you: Stand-up presentations are a physical activity. The better your delivery, the better chance you have to persuade listeners. Upon completion, in your next presentation, you will appear more sincere, confident and knowledgeable.

Presenter: Paul LeRoux
