The Chicago Police Department, in partnership with the Departments of Building and Law, along with Community Investment Corporation will be hosting a series of resource workshops for the owners and managers of residential properties of varying sizes. The goal is to assist the managers and property owners to increase their personal level of safety and learn how to work with the police and other partners to improve the level of safety surrounding their properties.

Costumes are suggested for everyone. This is a FREE event for the 1st Ward Community but registration is required. The first 100 kids will receive a goody bag. The night will have live entertainment, games as well as a DJ. Wicker Park Bucktown is hosting the 1st Halloween Party sponsored by Alderman Proco Joe Moreno and The 1st Ward First.

Johnny Wilson is a Chicago based multi-instrumentalist and producer. He has toured the country as a performer, written and produced records as well as hundreds of events in Chicago. He earned his bachelors at Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in vocal performance and production.
Currently Johnny is teaching at Chicago elementary schools for Music House Inc. He manages a performance venue in Avondale called The Auxiliary Art Center as well as Flowershop Studios in Hermosa. Johnny is an active member of The Peekaboos, Nervous Passenger, Rat Hammer and Options.
Join us for an hour of music exploring song writing, rhythm and improvisation at the Logan Square Library. Bring your instruments and inspirations and let's play music!
