Whether you're planning on attending the Women’s March, or just want to show your support— come join us for a button making party!

Button parts, paper, markers, and other materials needed will be provided for free. Plus, we’ll have snacks!

We’ll order some pizza, make some buttons, and gear up for the big day! Plus, you can check out the button museum and see the button factory in action.

All ages welcome!

The kids are off for MLK day, so why not bring them by the Beaver Dam? Even the little ones can express their opinions and show their support.

The 2017 Chicago march was powerful. 250,000 women and allies showed up in Chicago to raise their voices for issues each of us hold dear. That historic day embodied the ongoing fight for women’s rights.

Tavern Talk—More than Just a Walk in the Park: Parks as Living Labs
For our January event, we’re asking the question:
Q.: When is a park more than just a pretty place?
A.: When the park doubles as a living laboratory for researchers and citizen scientists. At this Tavern Talk, we’ll hear from program partners who used The 606 park and trail system this past year to investigate urban wildlife use patterns, park design and astronomy, and seasonal changes in flowering trees.
