Mental health centers have been closing down in Chicago at an alarming rate, allowing residents to go untreated and affecting the health and safety of our neighbors. Luckily the Coalition to Save Our Mental Health Centers has created a successful path for sustaining these centers in our community - in a way that is community controlled. It takes a vote and so the first step is a signature drive where we need your help! The coalition will meet with neighbors in Avondale, Hermosa, and Logan Square to explain the process and share best practices on how to collect signatures. It is a great at way to meet your neighbors for a great cause!
