Now in its fourth year, The 606 Block Party celebrates all that is great in the community. Kick off the day with a pancake breakfast, then enjoy hands-on activities from dozens of community organizations, food, beer, musical entertainments and dozens of community processions. As usual, the day will conclude with a DIY Illuminated Procession.

The first-ever timed run on The Bloomingdale Trail kicks off a day of festivities at The 606. Register now to be a part of history and to contribute to future public programming on The Bloomingdale Trail and at The 606.

The run is a timed event that goes through the heart of The 606. Runners will leave from Walsh Park (1722 N. Ashland) and finish at the western trailhead at Ridgeway Avenue (3700 West) near the McCormick YMCA. Total distance is 4.3 kilometers or 2.7 miles. The trail will be closed to all other users while the run is being conducted.

At the conclusion of the race, participants are encouraged to make their way to The 606 Block Party on Humboldt Boulevard for a Pancake Breakfast and to enjoy the day’s festivities.

Gather your family, friends, and neighbors at Churchill Field Park for a festive community walk to Humboldt Boulevard for the pancake breakfast at The 606 Block Party. Get festive and decorate your wagon, stroller, scooters, and dogs and head to Churchill Field Park for the Family Fun Walk. NO BIKES will be allowed on the trail during the Family Fun Walk.

During the Family Fun Walk the trail will be closed to all other users.
