One of Logan Square's newest additions to the Milwaukee Avenue bar scene, The Pink Squirrel is the location of our July Neighbor Meetup! The bar brings you back to the 1960's with their classic cocktails & boozy milkshakes, and they complete the look with vintage decor like custom lampshades and retro cat wallpaper. Meetup guests will get to try a special $8 drink menu.

Dig into composting and learn how it contributes to life beneath your feet with Nance Klehm, the permaculturist and ecological systems designer behind Chicago's composting ordinance. You'll gain insight into the foundation of our food system and leave with concrete steps to reduce your waste and grow healthy soil through home composting!

This workshop is the first in our new Sustainability Series, offering likeminded neighbors space to connect through highly interactive sessions that deliver practical ways for each of us to reduce our environmental impact. Join us in the co-op cafe!
