Woodard Plaza
2819 N. Milwaukee Av.

Woodard Plaza is the gateway to Avondale and one of our most visible assets. Unfortunately, the most visible thing about it these days is weeds and trash. It was given to us by the City with the provision that the community would take care of the maintenance. For a variety of reasons that never worked out so we're forming a new group to restore Woodard to its full potential. The first thing we need to do is weed. We're starting from scratch so if you have gardening tools, please bring them, as well as your own drinking water, hats, and snacks. Children welcome.

To make sure Woodard Plaza doesn't get away from us again, we are forming a group for on-going maintenance and programming, the Woodard Cultural Alliance.
