Ready to channel your inner Picasso and create a masterpiece of your fur-baby?? Let's get creative and support a great cause as we paint our pet's portraits. A portion of every ticket will be donated to Harmony House for Cats!

$45.00 per ticket gets you:

1. A pre-traced canvas of your pet prior to the event if you RSVP with your pet's photo. An additional $10 per extra pet (please do not paint more than two pets, you won't finish in time!)
2. All art materials including easels, canvas, paint, a variety of paint brushes, palettes etc etc.
3. 3 hours of painting and instruction. Not a painter? No problem! Our fun-loving instructors will be there to help you every step of the way.

Harmony House is a 501(c)3 organization.

The GGNA Zoning & Planning Committee is meeting to do a second review of the proposed project for the Congress Theatre at 2117-63 N. Milwaukee Av. A community meeting on this project will be held at a later date. The Committee will also review a proposed project at 2421 W. Fullerton Av.

All neighbors are welcome to attend our committee meetings. Questions, comments and concerns can be addressed to the committee after the developers presentation. Plans to the proposed projects can be found on our website: ggnazoning.weebly.com/future

The Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) is partnering with the Department of Procurement Services (DPS), the Chicago Police Department (CPD), and the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) to host a networking event for potential vendors.

Over 5,000 invitations are being sent to different firms certified in various industries related to technology, computer hardware/software, and public safety. The purpose of this outreach is to educate vendors not only about the services that OEMC, CPD, and CFD offer, but also about the potential contracting opportunities available. As a result, vendors will be better informed about what goods and services they may be qualified to provide and pursue contract opportunities as either a direct or indirect contractor or subcontractor.

The 14th District Court Advocacy Subcommittee consists of district residents, community groups, members of the business community and Chicago Police Officers. Through the court advocacy program we are able to identify court cases that negatively affect the community. We attend court as a team to let crime victims know that the are not alone.

All members must undergo a name check and background clearance.
