Chamber Executive Director Retirement Announced; Replacement Candidates Sought

The Board of Directors of the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce has announced the start of a search process for a new Executive Director to replace Paul Levin, who has served in that position since 2006. Mr. Levin shared his plan to retire with the Board at a meeting earlier this year. He will remain as Executive Director until a replacement is hired, and then assist with the transition to new leadership.

A Search Committee has been established under the chairmanship of Chamber Vice President Alan Castro. Interested applicants are invited to review the Job Description and application process details posted on the web site of the Nonprofit Network: click here

In discussing his retirement, Mr. Levin said "It's been a pleasure working with so many residents, business owners, institution and community leaders, elected officials and government staff, all inspiring and supporting the efforts of the Chamber to make Logan Square a better place to live and work. There's no doubt that Logan Square in 2017 can boast improved infrastructure, more successful businesses, better schools and more actively involved residents than in the past. In many ways we've become a beacon for our City. While I expect to remain active in Chamber and neighborhood affairs, I think we've built a solid base for more growth and improvement in the years to come, and it's time to let a new face be in the lead."
