Volunteers Help Make the Logan Square Farmers Market Shine!

Volunteers are needed to support on-site operations and off-site efforts of the Logan Square Farmers Market. Volunteers play a critical role in the success of our market! On market day, volunteers assist in the set up, customer service, take down, site maintenance, sustainable waste program and other operations associated with running the market. As a thank you, volunteers receive a market pin to highlight their service to the market and many vendors offer a volunteer discount for their products. Other perks include Volunteer Appreciation events at neighborhood & vendor businesses, as well as 40% off yoga classes at Logan Square studio, Tula Yoga, through their YogiCitizen Program. The market makes a fun way to support your local community, get to know your neighbors who share a similar passion and be involved with the local food system.

Go to our Sign Up Genius Page to review and sign up for a Market Shift (Set-Up, Morning, Afternoon and Take Down available), or email our Operations Manager, Rosie Fitz at rosie@loganchamber.org.

Pssst… We tend to need the most help for the afternoon and take-down shifts! Volunteering at the market can help community members gain Service Learning & Community Service hours. Internships may be possible through collaboration with higher education institutions.
