Not-for-profit affordable housing developer Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation has worked to craft a proposal for a 100-unit, 100% affordable housing development with 4,500 square feet of first floor retail at the underutilized city-owned parking lot just steps from the Logan Square Blue Line (at Kedzie Avenue and Emmett Street). A zoning change is required for this development to move forward.

At this meeting, Bickerdike will present information to 35th Ward residents on the proposal. Residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide input on the proposal and proposed zoning map amendment. Alderman Ramirez-Rosa will use the input from this meeting to make a decision on the proposed zoning map amendment that the applicant seeks.
